Missionary updates: - It's rained every single day this week - We're doing a volleyball tournament for sports day (not 100% excited for it) - we got to do service at the cannery!! We met a super cool service missionary and was telling us about all the cool things you can do - We had a member lesson with this familly that was mentioned in the October 2017 General conference talk by Gary E. Stevenson (look for the name Fernando and you will find the amazing story!!) - we went to this clothing drive to help out with and I scored some chacos! I really like them  - MY BACK IS IN FULL RECOVERY!!!!!  We had only one lesson this week and it was with Gerardo. It was on my birthday, he sent us a message asking is if we can meet with him as doon as possible. We got so excited because we invited him to read 3rd Nephi 11 in the Book of Mormon because that scripture was talking about Jesus Christ visiting the Americas and we thought that maybe he actually read it and got a witness of the tr...

Buenos Dias my friends! I'm completely out of goodle storage space (downside of being an old missionary who loves taking pictures) but yhe problem will be fixed in a few hours so hopefully this email sends today!  THERE WAS A RAT IN THE WINDOW It was scary. It fell into a hole that was technivally our window because we were in a basement. We decided to go into the living room to sleep, and rhis all happened at 4am. We have been ghosted by a couple of our friends and we've been making some efforts to get them back. Hello! I can't do any intro because it's 3 minutes until Miracle time lol sorry This is a very interesting time to be a missionary. The more I have been on my mission, the more I can see things that I have never seen before. These past few weeks we have been talking to people that tell us many things that we completely agree with, that want to know the truth, but have this blindness around them, almost like a darkness covering their eyes and it's keeping them from finding the truth. They mentioned many different reasons why they are not willing to hear our message, but I am thinking a lot about how important it is to try to help everyone especially in these last days. Buenos Días mis amigos!  I am back in the Valle Hermoso ward! Which means beautiful valley. And I agree it is beautiful. I love it here.  We have (as in the elders) have been teaching Alex and Noe for a looong time and had been invited to be baptized amny times before, but Noe's Seminary teacher came in for the win and helped him feel ready to take this new step. But the obstacle that they faced is that his parents said no to Alex so we are going to be working our tails off so that we can set a baptismal date soon for both of them. Okay so to be honest this week has been a big reflection period for me. So basically I don't know if you have seen Rango, but I have to give a recap so that you can understand what I am going to say. So in Rango, there is this lizard and his box gets shattered into a million pieces. Trigger warning: Suicide just in case if some of you want to avoid this email  Before I get to that story I wanted to share a miracle first. So we had a set lesson with a new friend we made who was from Venesuela and when we got there it was like 5 kids that opened up. We aksed the kids if they could wake up their parents (so cute) and when we were invited to come in, 3 families pulled up in a car and started piling in thungs they recieved from the bishop storehouse. It was so cool that we got to meet these families and we shared a message about how families sre imprtant in God's plan and that when founded on the rock of Jesus Christ, you can find peast in these troubled times.
