The Time Has Come - I Am Transferring

Buenas Tardes! I hope all of you had a great Christmas. Thank you for your support and love here in this Christmas Season. I am going to have to keep this email short because we were given a big present last night, our transfer board! After being in J2 for the past 6 months of my whole mission, I am officially transfering to MT. Lewis! I know that this is going to be a big change for me, I know that there is a wise purpose in it and I know that I need the change. I am going to miss the people that I have met here, but I know that J2 in good hands with my Companion Hermana Dababneh. We had our Christmas Zone conference and it was my favorite so far. A few months ago I had a dream where I saw the face of Jesus Christ and he said "Teach them about Jesus Christ" and I was pondering that dream for a while. I felt like I could share a few things about him, but I know I didn't know as much as I should. At this conference, our mission is doing a 100 days with christ where we are ...

Hello Friends and Family! I hope you have an awesome Christmas!! (Or to play with that word, Más de Cristo, or more of christ in your week!) Gracias a Dios (Thanks to God) my back is well enough that I got to shovel snow this week! The snow is so fluffy here it's fun. There are also gigantic icicles on the sides of houses big enough to use them as walking sticks or wands. The first part of the week was great, until it was 15°F outside with the wind blowing it felt like 3°F. I can let go of my pride now, Utah is really cold. "I don't want to be Carne Asada" - we were talking about Malachi 4 at Church and it was talking about the wicked will be burned and Hermana Glenda (a member) said "I don't wnat to be carne asada" There is this family that lent me their son's cello to practice while I am still in this area (because he is on a mission too) and I am going to play in 2 Christmas music devotionals this week! I am a bit scared though because they have a...

Hey Guys!  There was an adorable primary program this Sunday and the kids were so adorable! I love the testimonies they give in song. Some of our nonmember families came and their kids got to participate too!  The gang We met a group of 5 guys from Honduras and all of them are so Elect and so ready for the gospel! Right before we knocked on their door apparently their landlord came out and started to throw all of their things outside because they were 1 day late in paying their rent. Not even 30 minutes later we knock on their door and we shared a message and all of them loved our message. Every time we have a lesson with them they are so interested and in their hearts all of them want to come closer to christ. Carlos is moving to Plano Texas though so we gave him a copy of The Book of Mormon and we are going to make sure the missionaries keep in contact with them.  Lost confidence So I had a really embarrassing door contact. He opened the door and said "hello? And I froz...

Hello you guys! This has been a pretty amazing week!  I started to do a gratitude journal and write 3 things I am grateful for every day and it is completely changing my perspective on things, it's changed my countenance, it has changed the way I respond to hardships. If I knew how much happier I am because I'm keeping keeping a gratitude journal I would have started long ago. I go throughout the day and look for things to be grateful so I can put them in my journal. So that's my invitation to you! I would highly invest in making your own gratitude journal.  Sunday was just an absolute insane amount of miracles. Like so insane. Over 10 non members came to church this Sunday! Maybe it's something about the Christmas season...IDK. We found 7 new friends to teach that evening. And then, we met a family from venesuela that had a member come and help them get settled here and in the first lesson we had with them, they mentioned that they wanted to be baptized and have their ...
