When In Rome

Image
If you read anything in this email, you need to read this paragraph  To dxplain the Title, Ogden has a LOT of cats. They are SO MANY and EVERYWHERE and it reminds me of when I lived in italy and liked to chase the stray cats everywhere in rome instead of seeing beautiful buildings like the Roman Coluseum. And acually surprise!! I am Emergency Transfering back to J2 to finish Hermana Camela's training! To catch you up, I was in J2 for the first 7 months of my mission. My Trainer, Hermana Arriagada, was training Hermana Camela and she Came home early from her mission because her dad was sick (she was able to see him a day before he died) and so Hermana Camela moved to Brigham and President was trying to decide what to do with the area. I sent him a message once I found out about the news, and I told him that I am willing and able to finish her training this transfer. He said he would think about it and I got a call last night and yep! I'm going to J2 to finish her training! I am ...

Hey y'all! Thus is actually going to be a short email because me and my comanion have to pack, clean, and then Go to Hyrum together!! Here are a few highlights:  1) I was freaking out this week. 3rd week of not finding everybody, and it boiled over sunday evening. I found some comforting scriptures, made a list of who is on our side against Satan, and then prayed to have the strength to continue on. I know that this work will not be destroyed because it is God's work.  2) I got my first full gray hair. Thanks mom lol jkjk I am most likely am going to have to start dying my hair by the time that I am 25. It just runs in the family. I named it barb. 3) So, transfers. It’s insane. Mt. Lewis is getting Split, Elder Clegg snd Elder Mc. Claws are coming in (very respectable elders) and taking our only 3 people that we are teaching. A new companionship is coming in blind, Hermana Palafox and her trainee, and they will have nobody to teach. It's going to be interesting for them. Fo...

She Killed Georgina!

Buenos dias mis amigos!! How are you this week? I would love to hear about it!  I'm trying to spice up my emails with a bit of everything, so If there is anything that you want to know about my misison and the experiences I've been having, let me know! Ogden is still sketchy. Not any of the "being followed issues" here, just some really crazy interactions. We were walking in an apartment complex and this husband walks out s door and says "you killed them! You killed all 3 of them!" And walks down and starts talking to us behind us and days "My ex- wife killed Georgina. do you inow who Georgina is?" "She is a plant" and me and my companion did not believe for one second that it was a plant.   Transfers are next week! And we have NO idea what he is going to do this time. Our misison president is in this phase where he's like "I need my strongest missionaries in the right areas. I don't care how long or short they have been ther...

A Series Of Fortunate (& Unfortunate) Events

I want to apologize in advance, I have to send a lot of picures about this week because my phone decided to stop working Sunday morning. I woke up, there was a white line on the left of my screen. I tried to turn off my alarm and there was this accidental touch screen lock so I couldn't. My companion realized if you press the power button a coulple of times, it turns the alarm off. But a couple of more times  it calls 911. So, 911 gets called and a lady responds and we're totally freaking out and we explained that it was definetly not a emergency. This all happened at 6:30 in the morning. Yeahhhh it's funny now We had an amaaaaazing lesson with Juan and Felica. I can't deny the experiences that happened in that room. If you want to know about it, I've attatched a voice clip. Something very special about being a misisonary is that the Spirit, when you listen to it right, will put you in the right place at the right time. Those new friends we met last week? We knocked...
