When In Rome

If you read anything in this email, you need to read this paragraph

To dxplain the Title, Ogden has a LOT of cats. They are SO MANY and EVERYWHERE and it reminds me of when I lived in italy and liked to chase the stray cats everywhere in rome instead of seeing beautiful buildings like the Roman Coluseum. And acually surprise!! I am Emergency Transfering back to J2 to finish Hermana Camela's training! To catch you up, I was in J2 for the first 7 months of my mission. My Trainer, Hermana Arriagada, was training Hermana Camela and she Came home early from her mission because her dad was sick (she was able to see him a day before he died) and so Hermana Camela moved to Brigham and President was trying to decide what to do with the area. I sent him a message once I found out about the news, and I told him that I am willing and able to finish her training this transfer. He said he would think about it and I got a call last night and yep! I'm going to J2 to finish her training! I am SO EXCITED!! I love her, and I can't wait to see her again. And I also feel more prepared to be a trainer because of how unexpected this situation was. I am ready to rise for the occasion.

Also back to italy - Also I recently have been saying I am from italy and it backfires quickly because they ask "How are you liking the United States?" And then I have to clear up the situation because I can't lead them astray with a clear conscience that I am a foreign missionary to this country. I've finally figured out a phrase i'm going to use for thay question now "I have moved many places but I like _____ a lot" amd then I can put any place I lived - Italy, Nigeria, Virginia, etc.

Alsoooo, We met with this Hyrum stake president and his birth town is Buena Vista, Virginia!! He was there when Buena Vista was a small ward and not a stake. He asked if I have met any locals and now I have a goal to meet the locals in Buena Vista when I get back. Did you kmow there is a Buena Vista area in our mission? It's run by the Spanish Elders but the spanish missionaries get mad when I say the Virginia hometown as "Boo-nah Vehs-Tah" but who cares it's the proper name for that area.

Hyrum was a lot of fun for the week that I was here and I LOVED being in a trio with Hermana Groves and Hermana Dawson. I am going to miss them

That's all I can do this week mis Amigos i'm so sorry I've got to start packing again. Thank you for listening to my story :)

Hermana Vestel

Sorry my friends here's a few extra bits in between packing:
- sister Ballard is the best she served in my home ward in Florida and helped me have an experience before my mission that keeps me going. I got to say goodbye to her today
- we met some friends outside our window, as you can see they are wondering what trio life looks like
- this is the Brigham city Temple
- this is the second funeral we have accidentally run into in a church building in the past 2 weeks. It's a freaky coincidence.
- we went into the Logan temple this week. It was really helpful this week and I feel a sense of clarity in where my life is when I go and learn in the temple.
- An accurate drawing of my first day in hyrum. This cat jumped onto my coat and stayed there for about 2 seconds because of its claws
- silly missionary things. My companions are pround of how much I have changed
