Last Transfer!!
Transfer News: I'm Staying! And now I'm organizing a lot of things so that I can get ready to put all of my stuff in Suitcases. 5 weeks left!
Also Shoutout to my sister she is going to Mongolia speaking Mongolian for her mission! I am so proud of her!
I said Goodbye to Hermana Groves. I didn't cry because I know that I will see her again. #Missiontrip2024
We went to a sign language class because we found some latinos there. It was really fun!
We also saw a cool solar eclipse
We got a message from our friends the Lopez and what happened was they told this that "Hey, my focus is finding an apartment right now. And I've been waiting for you this whole time. But I can't keep waiting anymore. And I just want to be with my family right now. I can't have you come over. Please don't contact us anymore." And so it was really heartbreaking because I wanted to help them progress. But they just didn't want to anymore. And it sucks because they had a baptismal date, you know. And Obispo told us that they actually do have a new apartment now. It was kind of a blessing in disguise because I realized that we needed to focus on Fernando. So we invited him to a Baptism, and Brother Beliini said "No, we can't go, I'm having I don't hate that how hes acting like a little child and so I don't know what to do with him. And so he says they're not going to baptism". But as we went to the Library, and as we opened the Door and it was Fernando! He still wanted to go to the baptism. Brothet Mortimer (the G.O.A.T.) drove him down to Hyrum. At the Baptism, he asked if he could get baptized after her. We were like "what??" And we set a date for him for October 28th. But Sunday Morning he decided that he wants to be Baptized October 21st! So we have about 5 days to teach him everything. Wish us luck!
"But behold, the wild branches have grown and have overrun the roots thereof; and because that the wild branches have overcome the roots thereof it hath brought forth much evil fruit; and because that it hath brought forth so much evil fruit thou beholdest that it beginneth to perish; and it will soon become ripened, that it may be cast into the fire, except we should do something for it to preserve it."
At first I was devastated that things took a turn for the worse. But by the end of the week I realized that the Lord was preparing us and our time to focus on Fernando, and for that reason he helped us steer clear of the branches overeuning the roots.
I know that things don't happen for a coincidence. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
