"Can You Cut My Fingernails?" Yes!!

Hi! I realized that maybe I should go back to updating the email every night because that was way way easier than today lol 

I love that service gets to follow me. We got asked if we can help lay down sod for a friend. And then, we returned a vase to Sister Firth (she made it home from the hospital!) And she asked us out of the blue if we can help her cut her nails. She doesn't have strength in her hand to do it. We of course did, and she gave us some mitts for the winter. I grabbed an extra pair because me and my companion have the feeling that we are going to have another Hermana join us for the companionship next transfer. But that's Chisme, and it could be false. 

We had a very important lesson with Gloria. In the lesson, I felt like i was being washed clean inside. Probably the most interesting manifestación of the spirit (personally). She asked us if she can go back to the catholic Church. We told her that she can visit of course, but to be baptized we take upon ourselves the name of Chrust, and we strive to attend HIS church. So we invited her to pray about if this is the church that God wants her to be baptized in. Please pray for Gloria!! 

I am still grateful that we get to "prune our vineyards". We found out that 3 of our friends told us right off the bat that they do not want to join our church. They just wanted to hear from the missionaries. It's sad to find out, but still good to hear. You get used to a lot of rejection 

I love that the Lord has given me answers before the storm showed up. I had some thoughts that worried me, like thinking that maybe I am the reason why our past areas haven't been successful. But I took some time to reflect and pondering of the success that happened after I left those areas. All of that was possible because seeds were planted. Like my mom told me today "miracles follow missionaries". 

We talked to Jerald on Sunday because his family was able to make it to the states safely!! He has 2 super cute daughters and a wife. Jerald and his wife  looked at us and asked "what do we need to do to be a part of your church?" But in Spanish they used "pertanecer" so we thought they were asking to be baptized and so we decided maybe we should teach first before the invitation so that we can make sure they are ready for this. But at the end of the lesson this girl came up to us and told us "Thank you for supporting me during those difficult weeks without my family." "I know that you are sent from God and I appreciatethat you showed me God's love when I felt alone ".  Our hearts MELTED

We had an amazing Miracle with Edith! She had found a place that they are Closing down in in Logan and she talked to her husband and they decided that they are going to get Married in January!! She (and us) have been waiting for answers for a long time and I know that God prepares a way for his children to follow him!! 

Edith brought her Husband and Cousin to Church! Obispo asked to meet with Edith and her Husband so we started to talk to the 18 year old cousin and he started asking a lot of questions about the Church like if we believe in reincarnation or what kind of commandments he needs to follow. He also said "I used to go to 7th day adventist Church but I don't think there is one here in the United States" (we totally didn't tell him there was one lol Hopefully he doesn’t get mad about that) but we were like "let's talk about it after church next week!". But he is awesome!! 

Miracles exist! Answers come! And he will do his work even if we got sick for most of the week.
