100 Days Left!!

Hello! 100 days left! That's so fast, time should slow down a little bit.

Zone conference was a really good experience. They chose to do a specific chapter in the new Preach my Gospel about "Seek and Rely on the Spirit" and my favorite part was a message that Sister Holley gave about name calling and it reminded me of a Scripture in Matthew 13:55 where Jesus's hometown just sees him as the "Carpenter's son". Because of that label, they couldn't really see him as the Savior. And it made me realize how important it is not to judge someone by a small moment of your life, including yourself. We have to see others by their potential because if not, we are rejecting their opportunity to progress, to repent, or to become one with Jesus Christ.

At the beginning of the Zone Conference there was this man from Africa who shared his conversion story  and immediately I was grinning and so excited. At the end of his story President Holley asked us missionaries in the room "does anyone have any questions?" And immediately I shot my hand right up and asked him "What part of Nigeria? I lived in Abuja, Nigeria" and he was so astonished and said he lived 10 minutes away from Abuja. He thought that I served there but I actually lived there. All of the missionaries started coming uo to me and thought it was funny to see his reaction to me and even president said "Here we have the Africa Girl!" It was funny. I met an elder (Elder Ageypong) whose parents were from Ghana so we talked about Jollof rice and Fufu. It was cool to find all of those connections and talk about that time in my life.

We went to Malad Idaho and it was a blast!!
- We met this member family who had some neighbors that really needed a visit
- we pet  Buffalo and I picked some mulberries from their tree
- we got a call asking for some help moving this woman in
- and the 30 minute drive blasting music was AMAZING I really miss that

Our Friend Edith is doing really well! We had to give her a pretty important lesson and just told her that if she would like to be baptized, she needed to follow the Law of Chastity and be married to her husband. But in order for the church to marry them, one of them would have to accept a baptismal date. She was like "ok! Let me talk to my husband about it I know that he was talking about marriage recently". I am excited to hear what she decides to do!

100 days now, gotta start working. I'll be home soon!
