I Got COVID
Hey! This has been probably the most uneventful week of my misison, because we really only got to go outside once this week.
I started to feel sick right about Sunday. My throat and nose was on fire with pain. Then it felt like I had a sinus infection. I should have paid attention to this symptom though: I tasted my herbal tea and it tasted like soap.
Despite that, Nurse trappett thought it was allergies and got a doctor to prescribe antibiotics for me. Then I got a fever so we were home for 2 days.
So then we roll up to interviews (because i felt fine) with President and then Sister Holley looked at Hermana Hemmingway and she looked TERRIBLE and kicked her out of getring their interviews. She said that everyone was getting COVID because we were together at Sisters conference. I was like "oh shoot" and was kind of annoyed that nothing was said earlier.
Right after I had my interview with President, me and Hermana Groves and I took COVID tests. I took 2, and both showed up positive.... and so we are in quarantine until Tuesday. What sucks thiugh is that i'm not even feeling symptoms so it just feels like mandatory sacking. The biggest challenge is that we don’t really have a good outlet except drawing. Music? Only hymns and good old youth Playlist we've been listening to for over a year. Movies? Media? Just "Joseph Smith: Prophet of the restoration".
We can't go out, we're trying to not eat because we're bored. Each morning gets harder and harder to wake up. We're putting on pants and fake eyeliner just c'ause. Who is going to see us? No one. Hopefully you could tell that we're going insane.
But, we did get transfer news. I'm going to Tremonton with Hermana Villareal (literally a dream come true) and then Hermana Groves is going to Train in her baby area... Brigham City!! Her child is a visa waiter so she may get her visa before she goes and gets her and in that case she would go into a trio in Brigham. Our District leader and his companion will come to this area. It's been kind of funny how me and Hermana Groves have been whitewashed out of 2 areas together and it's always been a struggle bus to get these areas popping.
I'm really excited for Tremonton. I hope to help someone yo come unto christ and be baptized soon. My last one was in December of last year. I'm gonna miss Valle Hermoso especially because a lot of members started calling us and making sure that we were OK because we weren't abl3 to leave rhe house and go to church. Frank is so close to getting baptized too...
Have a great week! Reach out if you can! It's been quiet these past few days with just us.
