Singing Praises
On Saturday and Sunday as Sisters we got to go to two musical Devotionals! One in Logan and one in Ogden. I was asked to do the narraration in Logan and... it was not easy but I got through it. I was basically memorizing it and I practiced projecting the words a lot. It was scary, I thought I would fall over on the stand but I did it! It taught me a valuable lesson: If you want to have confidence you have to practice being confident until it becomes second nature to you. It's like being a missionary: If you want to be a missionary, you have to get on that badge and do it.
I saw Hermana Camela at the Devotional and I decided to do something that I haven't really been able to do before with past friendships or relationships that just didn't end up ending smooth... I went up and told her "Hey I know that we had a rough transfer but I want to say I love you and I want to move on from it" she replied: "Of course don't worry about it. I'm not holding anything from that transfer. I learned a lot from it" :) so my second lesson is o never wait to forgive. It may take forever to wait for the other person to forgive and life is too short for forever.
Stake Conference was on Sunday and there was a song with the choir and this little maybe like 6 year old soloist and it was the CUTEST thing ever!! Something I loved from that stake conference is that if there is a miracle you need in your life, then you ask for it with the cleanest inner vessel you can muster. We still have no friends to teach, but we keep plugging along.
Oh also transfers came up: I'm staying with Hermana Groves. LOL that will be 6 months together!! I have no idea what's going through president's mind at this point but we are pretty much going to know so much about each other. I don't mind being with her (she's my favorite companion!) If anyone has some of those 20 get to know you questions I would appreciate it
That's all folks! Another week down, 3 transfers left after his one
