Querido Juan (Dear John...)

Buenos Días! How are y'all doing?

0 in our teaching pool
So we pretty much had to drop the last of our people because we haven't been able to get a successful contact with them from between 3 weeks to a month. But we are not giving up. We've been knocking like crazy people. We had our MDC talking about how to extend baptismal invitations and we were looking at each other like.Wouldn't that be nice lol. We're not discouraged  upset or mad about it. We just keep going.

We knocked on this door and this man walks up to the door and looks at us through this glass diamond window and he shook his finger to say no, and just walked away. Without opening the door. We looked at each other and started laughing. It was a really funny interaction.

Service at a Nursing home
So funny... we have been praying a lot to be able to find those that are willing to hear God's message, right? But I have specifically prayed 3 times these past 3 weeks for opportunities to do service and usually the day of or the day after we get assigned to do service! It's so much fun. We went into this nursing home and we talked with them, listened to their life stories and went to an activity with them where we listened to 50's music. It was so sweet I loved them so much.

In Language Study, we have been having some super creative ideas for practicing our language
1) writing down short spiritual experiences or maybe dreams you had or a story that you wanted to write down in Spanish (or your missionary language)
2) we would scroll through Spanish word lists (or can take a Spanish dictionary) and the word you get is a word that you have to write in a sentence. Then your companion goes. Bur you have to choose the theme in the beginning and so for one of them we wrote a dear John letter. It's a lot of fun

College carrer plans!!
So recently I've been trying to figure out my life's plans (as been requested by the Spirit) and it's been a fun process if you have an open and curious mind to it. Last week I was considering either going into architecture or maybe going into interior design and going into real estate. But I prayed about it and I was asked to go back and look into Nursing again so now i'm like "what if I transfer to BYUI in the fall and go into the nursing program?"

But the extent that I have been able to do as in looking at BYUI is looking at the school on Google maps and checking the reviews. I don't have much access to research right now.

Moral of the story, include the Lord in your future plans! He knows the bigger picture.

Adios! Less than 6 months left!
