I Am Officially Catwoman Now

Buenas Tardes y'all!

This week has been fantastic!

We had a wedding this week for Karla and Ruben and it was so cute and pretty! The ward did so much for them. They got a free venue to have their wedding (I was drooling because I aspire to have a venue to do that in the future), the food was provided by the members, the Myers even got Karla and Ruben a dress and a suit to get married in! This Ward is such a blessing and a great help to our friends.

The title - we had a member lesson and this tabby cat jumped on the couch next to me and I was petting it and out of nowhere the cat grabs my arm and bites my hand. No blood was drawn but it hurt. So I am officially catwoman now

I am getting a new companion this Tuesday! Her name is Hermana Smith and she was in my district! This is going to be a good lesson from me because she is pretty opposite than I am. She also hates this area because she is terrified of Halloween and there are apparently a lot of Halloween decorations in J2. I also love Halloween as most of you know too. But that's the only problem and I am optimistic that this will be a good transfer.

Now for the big event..... I went to the Saturday morning session of Conference IN PERSON!!! IT WAS SO COOL! The Tabernacle Choir is so different in person. The spirit is so powerful as the apostles and the prophet came in. I teared up a bit when president Russell M. Nelson said "God be with you till we meet again".

The biggest thing I learned from conference is that everything in missionary work is going to be ok because it is HIS work. God is merciful. He will give his children many opportunities to learn and hear the gospel. It definitely may not be the time for them yet. But we have to plant the speed!! How else are they going to have the opportunity to read another testament of Jesus Christ? I want to invite you to share the Book of Mormon or the Bible with someone else and share your testimony about it.

Love you Guys! Stay safe and happy!

Hermana Vestel
